We think that a good job means access to something greater. Greater wages, greater technical skills, and greater opportunities. Through the annual Mayor's Youth Jobs+ Resource Fair, we offer 16-24-year-olds a day of job offers, mock interviews, resource tables, and workshops. Together with our host of volunteers, nonprofit agencies and corporate partners, we help set youth on a path to economic security.

About the Mayor’s Youth Jobs+ Initiative

Mayor’s Youth Jobs+ is a city-wide program to help young adults (ages 16-24) find employment. Since 2012, we have provided over 35,000 youth with jobs and work opportunities.

This initiative is a partnership between the City of San Francisco, United Way Bay Area, the Department of Children, Youth & Their Families, the Office of Economic and Workforce Development, the San Francisco Unified School District, youth-serving nonprofits and hundreds of San Francisco businesses. This one-day annual event is a part of the Mayor’s Youth Jobs + program, and is hosted by United Way Bay Area.
