Essential Functions:
' Greet customers.
' Smile and acknowledge customer's presence within 5 seconds, so they know they will be helped promptly. Allow the customer viewing time, if they seem unsure.
' Suggestive sell
' Inform customers of hot bakery items, personal favorites, and/or product pairings.
' Package product
' Identify appropriate packaging. If appropriate, ask customer's packaging preference.
' Use register to ring up guest transactions
' Adhere to all policies and procedures regarding cash handling and register input.
' Tender all transactions accurately and efficiently.
' Strive for detailed knowledge of product line
' Be well informed of price and basic ingredients in products
' Maintain a clean product display case and work area
' Keep display case that is clean, presentable, and properly labeled
' Keep work area clean and well-stocked throughout shift
